Tab Trade — The Short Version

 

 

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

 

 

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a founder with no industry background.

 

 

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

 

 

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

 

 

What You Trade On

 

 

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

 

 

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

 

 

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

 

 

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

 

 

Costs

 

 

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

 

 

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

 

 

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

 

 

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

 

 

How Fast Are the Fills

 

 

This is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

 

 

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

 

 

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.

 

 

Safety

 

 

Here is the thing that matters. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

 

 

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

 

 

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
